In English, I have been focusing on figurative language. Yesterday, I wrote a description of the Jungle Lookout Play Area at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. I also completed the bonus task of using similes, metaphors and personification at least once. I hope you enjoy!
The Jungle Lookout Play Area is like a simple maze with plenty of challenges from tunnels to crawl through to logs to balance on. However, my favourite part is the big slide. In order to reach the entrance, I need to climb into its neck. There are several ways up there, but I normally prefer to climb up to the slide from the bottom of the main tower. Even though I favour this route, I enjoy the other (including the one with a wobbly bridge). Every now and them, I climb a couple of rope ladders to the very top and look out at the surrounding jungle.
