The Sleepy Dormouse
In this book, the sleepy dormouse gets trapped by Scraggly Sam. The harvest mice help him to escape from the pot because Scraggly Sam wants to eat the dormouse.
I wrote a different ending to the story, this week. In my story, the hazelnuts broke the whole pot by turning into a big tree. The dormouse escaped by climbing up the tree and then went to say ‘thank you’ to the harvest mice for saving him.
Science
In science, I made a poster of how to save the dormice because they are endangered.
Also, I had to use some information to answer some questions about hazel dormice.
At the Woods
The most important job was putting up nesting boxes.
