The Jungle Book
This week, we learned the Laws of the Jungle that Baloo taught Mowgli.
We made some rules for our woodland. I enjoyed making rules for our woodland because, when I wrote it up in best, I could do it in joined-up writing.
Science
This week, we investigated how to make a good sledge for Teddy. We put different materials on the sledge and put it on a ramp to see which would go the fastest. I learnt that if we put a smooth surface on another smooth surface it will go really fast because there is not a lot of friction. The bubble wrap went the slowest because when more bubbles had popped it made the sledge go slower.
Maths
Our topic was about metres and centimetres. My favourite activity was measuring some things in our house. I learned that 100cm is 1m. I enjoyed measuring my own bedroom floor because I did it all by myself and I was right.
