Diwali is a festival that Hindus celebrate. This festival started in India and marks the beginning of each Hindu year. Like Easter, Diwali doesn’t fall on the same day; it depends on the position of the moon.
Rangoli is a way Diwali is celebrated. Hindus draw Rangoli, on the floor by the entrance to their homes, to welcome gods and bring good luck.
Today, we drew a Rangoli in our garden.
