That Stings
When Mum was clearing the path, I got seven wasp stings. Later, Mum found a hole in the ground that was the wasp’s nest. I am glad Mum found the nest because we know where to avoid until winter.
Elder
We found some elder which has fruit that looks like blackberries except that it is one small ball instead of lots small balls clumped together. They are poisonous unless cooked.
Berry Hunt
We went on a hunt for blackberries, but we also picked some raspberries.
Jay Feather
Mum found a jay feather.
