First, in Butterfly Week, Mummy and I took part in the Big Butterfly Count. We found three gatekeepers and four large whites, in the back garden.
Then, I labelled the different parts of a butterfly, and I chose one of the butterfly patterns to copy.
After snack, I watched a video about the butterfly life cycle. Then, I made my own life cycle for a butterfly.
Last, we took part in the Big Butterfly Count again, but we completed it at the woods. We found 1 painted lady, 4 large whites and 4 commas.
