Music
This week, we played the F chord on the ukele. On the piano, we played “Easy-peasy”.
Maths
In mental maths, I did a set of eight number sentences. Then, I did some division and multiplication.
Matilda
In the book this week, Matilda knocked over the glass again for Miss Honey. Miss Honey was amazed after she saw what Matilda did.
Science
This week, to finish off about the heart, we labelled and coloured the circulatory system. We watched a video about how oxygen gets to the different parts of our body. Little red blood cells go to the lungs from the heart, pick up oxygen, and then they go back to heart again for an extra push. Afterwards, they go to the different parts of the body and rub off oxygen, but on their way back up they collect carbon dioxide for the body to breathe out.
Technology
In technology, we made a snapping dragon. To make the snapping machine, we used seven pegs with two fixed pivots, and seven linkages. To decorate we stuck on jaws, teeth, a body, a tail and a wing.
