Matilda
In Matilda, Miss Honey decides to help Matilda. Miss Honey thinks Matilda needs to be in the top group because of how clever she is.
We wrote a limerick about Billy.
The next day, we wrote a limerick about Blossom and Buttercup.
In the book, Matilda reads a limerick at school, so that’s why we wrote our own limericks.
Maths
I did a maths test in a new Year Two book. I got 72 marks out of 78, which I was really proud of.
Computing
On Code, I helped the artist draw some more pictures. For one of the tasks, I drew a treasure chest with fins, which was very strange and funny.
We did some more of the ‘fish school’ story and changed the background, in Scratch.
At The Woods
On Thursday, I sewed a mountain lion puppet. Also, I wrote scene 2 of the play. Afterwards, I started building a bike park.
Art
On Friday, we put eyes on the mountain lion, to finish him off, and made him a crown.
It is quite a while since I visited home school. I started with the last 13th to 17th and am so amazed at the amount, content and detail in the week! So impressive. In particular, I love the silly rhymes and the lion. I am looking forward to catching up on the previous weeks later on.
Impressive Arithmetic result too. Very good.
