The Jungle Book
This week in The Jungle Book, Mowgli escapes from the Cold Lairs and gets home to Mother Wolf and Father Wolf.
I wrote a summary of what happened in chapter two. At the end I drew a picture of Kaa and the Monkey-People, using two of my books that show me how to draw animals.
At the Woods
Jonathan, from the Woodland Trust, came to the woods and told us about woodruff and told us that it was bigger when the dinosaurs were around.
He also told us about field maple.
After Jonathan went, we started making a path that goes to one of the other paths. The new path goes past my new House of Sticks that we’re building. We’re going to make the House of Sticks a cuboid, this time, and call it the Cuboid House of Sticks.
Science
We investigated what materials would stick to a magnet. We found out that some metals can stick to magnets but some can’t.
