The Twits

The author of this children’s comedy is Roald Dahl. In the story we meet the Twits, who are nasty people, and find out what silly tricks they play on each other. They catch birds for bird pie, on Wednesdays. However, the four monkeys (who were captured by Mr Twit and Mrs Twit) with help from the Roly-Poly bird get in the way. Finally, the monkeys play a trick on the Twits to get revenge for the hard life the horrible couple have given them.

I like the book because it’s funny. My favourite characters are the Twits. This is because their tricks are very ridiculous. I love the trick that the monkeys play on the Twits because it’s very silly and intelligent at the same time.

I would like the Twits to look funny. If the Twits had lion heads it would be better.

I would recommend this book to 5-year-olds and older who like to laugh.
