Two beautiful brown and white fungi that we spotted on our way out of the woods.

After a steep descent, we arrived at the River Don. This is the Don Bridge carrying the A1 overhead.

The sun was shining on the river.

We passed through a field with lots of cattle; they didn’t seem too bothered about us being there.

We arrived at a disused railing bridge which now forms part of the Trans Pennine Trail.

After a look at the river from the bridge, we continued back towards Sprotbrough.

We left the trail and continued along a lovely path which passed between fields; new crops were already peeping above the soil.

On our way back to the village, we crossed a footbridge over the A1; it was very noisy and high!
